Andy Ridout was a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Earth Sciences at UCL. He began working with CPOM in 2000. Andy has authored or co-authored a multitude of Academic papers relating to relating to Environmental geosciences, oceanography, and the Cryosphere. His most recent works include research into the effect of landfast sea ice buttressing on ice dynamic speedup in the Larsen B embayment, Antarctica. Andy was a part of NERC’s North Atlantic Climate System Integrated Study a 5-year strategic research programme that’s goal was to enhance the UK’s capability to detect, attribute, and predict changes in the North Atlantic Climate System.
Andy gained his MSc in Technology and Medicine from Imperial College London.
