David uses data science techniques for improving the worlds understanding of the cryosphere. David’s current research focuses on ice sheet and ice shelf surface data, modelling the distribution of supraglacial surface lakes in Greenland and assembling multivariate ice shelf surface datasets in Antarctica for the AI4IS project. David is interested in looking at complex spatial data and technologies to extract additional information from remote sensing datasets.
David Completed his PhD in the distribution of mountain glaciers at Bremen, Germany.
