Emily Glen is a final-year PhD student at Lancaster University and has been working with CPOM since 2020. Her research focuses on delineating the surface hydrology of Earth’s ice sheets, combining small-scale process-based studies with large-scale ice sheet-wide assessments. She is particularly interested in applying machine learning algorithms to map meltwater features using the Google Earth Engine platform. Before her PhD, Emily earned an MSc (Res) in Polar and Alpine Change at the University of Sheffield.
