Jacqueline Otto is a PhD researcher at Lancaster University and joined CPOM in 2024. Her research focuses on ice sheet hydrology, specifically the evolution of supraglacial lakes on the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets during winter using Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite data. She has previously researched supraglacial meltwater processes on the Greenland ice sheet using optical satellite data.

Jacqueline completed a MA in Human Geography – Urban Studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Germany, followed by a MSc in Physical Geography – Glaciology at Stockholm University, Sweden.
