Jing Jin is a polar oceanographer and climate modeller and post-doctoral researcher at the University of Liverpool. Jing’s current research focuses on investigating the impact of freshwater fluxes from Antarctic ice loss on global ocean and atmosphere by 2300 and this is done primarily through the running of a fully coupled UKESM model with an interactive ice sheet component. They joined CPOM as a PhD student at the University of Bristol before becoming Post doctoral researcher in 2024.
Jing completed their PhD at the University of Bristol with the research focusing on the Amery Ice Shelf, East Antarctica.
