Karla Boxall is a Research Associate at Lancaster University working on developing novel satellite radar altimetry processing chains and deriving state-of-the-art measurements of ice sheet elevation.

Her PhD research utilised synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite imagery to identify seasonal ice velocity variability, and its environmental drivers, across the Antarctic Ice Sheet.
