Natasha Lee joined CPOM in 2023 at Northumbria University and is currently completing her PhD. Natasha’s current research investigates the changes in Icelandic glaciers and proglacial lakes using remote sensing techniques. She is currently using optical satellite images to identify the causes of these changes.
Natasha has studied MSc (Res) Polar and Alpine Change at the University of Sheffield. As part of her PhD she has quantified proglacial lake area and colour change of Múlajökull outlet glacier and has investigated characteristics of proglacial lakes in southern Vatnajökull. This research included fieldwork in Iceland.
