Isobel Lawrence is a Research Fellow at the European Space Agency (ESA) centre for Earth Observation, ESRIN, specialising in remote sensing of sea ice. Isobel previously held a post-doctoral position within CPOM before becoming an Associate Investigator when she joined ESA in 2022. Isobel has taken part in fieldwork in the Arctic and Antarctica, most recently in December 2022 when she led an aircraft campaign measuring sea ice in the Weddell Sea, Antarctica.
