Net Zero Polar Science (NZPS) Doctoral Training Programme

The NZPS Doctoral Training Programme will train the next generation of scientists to deliver high impact environmental science with a reduced carbon footprint, while providing opportunities for career paths in a wide range of industries and disciplines.

NZPS will develop future leaders to address grand polar science challenges more sustainably, which involves the evaluation, innovative use and creation of low-carbon technological solutions for all areas of NERC science.

Our students will acquire expertise that is urgently needed to plug the UK’s green skills gaps in academia, industry, and government.
